At WILDTOPIA, we believe the creative world thrives when it remembers it's wild heart. We work with cultural institutions, artistic companies and creative entrepreneuers who feel the call to reconnect with purpose, with imagnisation, and with the deeper essence of their work.
From our base in Copenhagen, we collaborate with partners across the world to rewild creative ecosystems. Rewilding, for us, is an act of renewal, of regenerative actions: stripping away noise, rediscovering clarity, and nurturing the conditions where ideas can flourish freely.
WILDTOPIA is founded and led by Karen Toftegaard, an award-winning cultural entrepreneur known for shaping festivals, creative processes and industry arenas with rare sensitivity and strategic vision. Her practice blends historical insight, lived experience and an intuitive understanding of the cultural field's complexities; always in pursuit of the strongest possible impact and value.
When addressing tasks, we operate as a team, scaling our team to meet the specific needs of each project. Our work spans Denmark and the global stage, with August dedicated to Edinburgh, Scotland, where we are based for the festivals - producing the #DANISH showcase. In November 2026 we will be going to Canada for CINARS as The Danish Arts Foundation has selected WILDTOPIA to be preparing the Danish delegation for this international market platform.
We have collaborated with graphic designer (and drummer) Jakob Rønlov for over ten years. Production manager Sára Bocz has been part of our team since 2019 and UK-based press lead Michelle Mangan has been associated with us since 2022. Furthermore we have cultivated a group of talented individuals who join us as needed, both in Copenhagen and around the world. We're deeply grateful for their contributions.
